Who is Jimi Kestin

A little about Jimi Kestin

Leadership That Has Proven Itself across political, business, civic, and the faith community.

Jimi Kestin is not running for City Council to gain influence — he already has it. He has earned it through decades of trusted service:

Chaplain for Dixie Home Health and Hospice

Political commentator for Andy Griffen on KDXU radio.

Former Asst. Vice President at the State Bank of Southern Utah

Two-term past Chairman of the Washington County Republican Party

Three terms having served on the Executive Committee for the Utah Republican Party

Former Chairman of the Board of the St. George Chamber of Commerce

2020 Electoral College Representative for Utah’s 2nd Congressional District

Co-founder of the Interfaith Council of Washington County

Received the Distinguished Citizen Award from Dixie State University

A Vision Grounded in Community

Jimi Kestin deeply understands the values that make Santa Clara special — because he has lived them. His vision is not about unchecked development or outside influence. It is about protecting the hometown feel that draws families here and keeps generations rooted: “My daughter said to me, ‘Dad, please don’t ever sell this house. I want my kids to experience how I grew up.’ That is the kind of community we must preserve.”🚧

Ready to Tackle Infrastructure Head-On:

Jimi is not dancing around the real issues — he is calling them out directly. It is clear we have an outdated infrastructure, especially along Santa Clara Drive and Pioneer Parkway. We cannot continue to grow without addressing our traffic issues.

Growth?

We need thoughtful planning, ensuring our infrastructure grows with our city, not behind it. We must protect personal property rights while making sure that the exercise of those rights does not infringe on other’s rights.

Drought?

We must work toward developing innovative long-term solutions like local reservoir development and smarter water sourcing — not more government mandates and fear tactics.🗽

A Champion of Individual Rights and Constitutional Principles:

Unlike candidates who follow party lines or chase endorsements, Jimi Kestin will answer to one group only: the people of Santa Clara. He has:No outside business interests that could bias his decisions has not sought political endorsements to remain fully accountable to you. A consistent, values-based approach rooted in faith, the Constitution, and community service. From healthcare decisions to land use, Jimi believes that protecting individual liberty and limiting government interference in our lives is the essential role of every elected official.💬

A Servant!

Not a Politician. Jimi is not running on promises — he is running on a lifetime of results. He is not seeking power; he is answering a call to serve. “I am not coming in with an agenda. I am here to put the ‘servant’ back in public servant.”✅

The Bottom Line: Why Jimi Kestin?

Santa Clara needs a steady hand, a principled heart, and a wise decision maker — not just someone who has been around politics or development. We need someone who listens, understands, and leads with conviction. Vote Jimi Kestin for Santa Clara City Council. Because our hometown deserves nothing less than a leader who has already shown he is in it for the right reasons — and the long haul.

Oh, the places you will go!
